The only thing recommended outside of the normal installation process for the # RED24FR for a vehicle with a CAN bus system is the 30-Amp Circuit Breaker Kit for Redarc Tow-Pro Elite, Classic, and Liberty Trailer Brake Controllers # 331-CBK30-EB. I recommend using the Master Lock Hitch Receiver and Coupler Latch Lock Set # 2848DAT. They're half right. The Stealth # SH54FR Hitch requires that the rear bumper cover be removed to access the rear reinforcement beam. This beam is essentially the rear bumper. This beam is removed and replaced by the hitch, which takes its place and acts as the rear bumper. Once the rear bumper cover is reinstalled, the vehicle will be no different from the rear from a visual standpoint. The gas tanks does NOT need to be removed.
